A seminar on university-related IPR in China
Science and technology is developing rapidly in China. During the last decade, China has evolved to become the fastest rising R&D-nation in modern history and will soon take the position as a ‘science super power’. Collaboration between Danish and Chinese scientists is also on the rise and will accelerate as the newly establish Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research develop.
At the same time, collaboration with Chinese scientists is often shrouded with uncertainty regarding regulations and implementation of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Knowledge about IPR in China and how to deal with IPR-issues when establishing and conducting research cooperation with Chinese partners is thus needed.
This seminar will shed light on the above mentioned issues and present the participants with state-of-art knowledge about the IPR-situation in China including case examples and proposals for best practice.
It is a seminar with relevance towards technology transfer judicial offices at Danish universities and research institutions, scientists and administrators involved in SDC-activities, scientists with experience from or interest in China and other stakeholders with an interest
