The research institution has the right to publish the results.
 
Public research institutions can normally not enter into agreements which place limitations on their right to publish their own research results.

In special cases this principle can be departed from, however, but then only for a very short and clearly limited period.

In connection with commissioned research, however, limitations on the right to publish can be agreed upon.

Furthermore, specific sanction procedures can be defined for the duration of the research agreement.
