Danish project highlighted by World Bank

A project aimed at raising awareness and understanding of GMO in Africa has been selected in a competition held by the World Bank. Scientists from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Aarhus are leaders of the project.

The BiosafeTrain project aims to do exactly that and has recently been selected in a World Bank competition as “an innovative Danish agricultural development project in Africa”.

The project, which is the largest of its kind regarding biosafety in East Africa, is led by scientists from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Aarhus.
